I had some leaking to the outside anytime I used my kitchen sink that progressively seemed to get worse the past week and when the prior plumber I used in the past never returned my voicemail, I hopped on Yelp to see what my alternatives were. All of the reviews on 5 Star seemed consistently positive, with a lot of recent reviews and I'm so glad that I decided to go ahead with them! They made it easy to set up a same day appointment over the phone, explaining the payment process and the text notifications were similar to Lyft (ie telling me when the technician was on the way). Amir, who was coming to do the fix, also texted me several hours before my appointment time to see if it was okay for him to come earlier than expected, which I appreciated.

Amir was awesome, he wore booties over his shoes, explained to me what he thought the issue would be, and explained to me on every step what he had to do, and what the cost could be if he had to do XYZ. All in all, it took 2 hours for him to fix what turned out to be a broken drain pipe, saved me a bit of money by not replacing an upper pipe that looked fine, AND installed a portion of it to the outside, which as he explained, would make it easier should I ever have a clog, it would make it easier for a future solution.

The pricing was fair and Amir definitely knew his stuff and was just a positive and calming presence to be around. I will for sure contact 5 Star in the future should I need any plumbing help (which fingers crossed, is not for a long while)!

I called early in the morning and got a quick quote. I called back and was able to get an appointment that day for a drain cleaning. The tech Eze notified me that he was arriving earlier than expected! He was professional and very helpful explaining everything getting done and making sure all my issues were addressed. Our sink was backed up and even though we tried snaking it, drain-o, ice and hot water, etc we could not unclog it. I called several plumbers and no one could get us for several days except 5 Star Plumbing. Alex arrived on time, was professional, very nice, and even wore boot coverings in my home which I thought was a nice touch. He took care of the problem in about an hour and we haven't had an issue since!

I have used 5 Star 4 times in the last three weeks and 3 of the 4 times they came out on the same day and got the job done! Alex was quick with a gas leak under the hous and it was pouring rain and made 2 recommendations of things I could do my self and save money... I did thank you Alex. Eze added a drain so my washer would drain properly took him about 30 min. I will always call 5 Star for this old house :)

Called on Saturday afternoon with shower issues and was able to make an appointment for this morning. Amir came out and was great, you could tell he's a professional. He knew what the problem was when we described the problem and was able to fix it within an hour. He didn't hesitate to answer any other plumbing questions we had and gave us honest and informative answers, without being pushy with trying to sell us additional services.
