We live in an old craftsman home (90 years old) and the shower drain had standing water. We tried to snake it after failed attempts of liquid plumber. I looked up yelp and called Guillermo. I placed the call at 4:00, he showed up at 5:00, surveyed our situation and fixed it by 5:15. After detecting a pinhole leak in a pipe under my house that was spraying water all over this Saturday, I called the plumbing guy I know. Being in Los Angeles at the time, the plumbing guy I know wasnt going to be much help, so, thinking I was probably going to be better off hitting the hardware store for some patching goo that could hold it til Monday to avoid paying weekend prices, I decided to call the well-reviewed Best Plumbing and Drain to get a quote. Well, upon hearing in the neighborhood of $200 instead of the $300-$500 I was expecting, I said ""Let's do it"", and Guillermo came over and replaced the pipe inside of an hour for $225, which I thought was perfectly reasonable, especially for it being near dusk on a Saturday.

I'd definitely call ""Best"" again.

Found Best Plumbing through Yelp. They had exceptional reviews, so I took a chance.

The kitchen drain had been slowly draining since Thanksgiving. We tried the usual remedies, but to no avail. After calling several other plumbers who stated that they don't come out this far (I live in Penasquitos - not Hemet), I called Best Plumbing and the person on the line was very professional and gave me an appointment for the next day with a 2 hour window. She stated that someone would call me 30 minutes in advance.

I received the confirmation call as stated, and Guiermo and his trainee were at my door within the designated time. When he introduced himself, I told him that I was pleased that he responded as he had been mentioned by name in several other reviews. I mentioned this to him and he seemed very surpised.

The problem was quickly assessed, they cleared out the drain and I was back in business. They gave me a 90 day warranty at a reasonable price and a discount because I found them on Yelp. Guiermo was a great mentor to his trainee as well.

I highly recommend this business and appreciate their professionalism.

We finally got tired of the washer-rinse-spin-drain cycle water overflowing the drain pipe and onto the kitchen floor. I had already tried to open the drain pipe more with one of those small manually operated snake tools, but that did not clear it enough to resolve this issue.

So I went to this yelp site in search of some more 'help', with the criteria that (a) the price was not too high, (b) the plumber drain cleaning service could agree to do the job the same day, and finally, (c) there were some recent reviewers of them that seem to valid they were the 'best' for the job.

So I called these guys in the early afternoon (on a recent Nov Wednesday) and 'negotiated' a price that was acceptable with a very polite and professional sounding person in their office. They stayed in touch with me about being a little late, which is always good and courteous to keep the next client informed of when to expect them to arrive.

They went right to work with their 'big rooter-router' thing, and within about 25 minutes they were all finished with the dirty work, and proceeded to clean up whatever spots were on the floor area nearby. They were done, ....when they filled up the washer again, and then proceeded to watch for any more buildup of water in the drain pipe during the rinse-spin cycle. Good job! Courteous, Professional, and quickly done....that's what I was expecting ... and that is what I got. Highly recommend them.

Exceptional courtesy, workmanship, and professionalism.

At my request, Giermo tried to fix my 20 year old shower valve for the lowest cost and when that did not work 100% he applied the costs toward a proper repair that took less time than expected and looks like a million bucks. He drove up to north county (without extra cost to me) to get a part unavailable in San Diego so that my tenants would have the shower up and running as soon as possible. He called each time to let me, and my tenants, know when he would be on the job and showed up when he said he would. He knocked on doors to let the other residents know the water would need to be shut off (whole building shut-off only) for a short period during the repairs.

Giermo went beyond what I have ever experienced from a plumbing company before and I whole heartily recommend Best Plumbing to everyone. Thanks Giermo.

I read the reviews. Mostly they were favorable. I made an appointment with Joe to come out on Monday between 8-11. At 10:30 he called me to tell me he would be late. At 11:20 he called to say he was on his way.
He came in, cleared my sink, charged me $45 (which is on the low-end of the plumbers pay scale), shook my hand and left. He was courteous and fast. I will call again!
