Great people, great service. First time using this company but won't be the last. I go out to the garage to find the water heater had flooded it. My warranty company set me up with this company. I call them for an appointment and the guy had a personal appointment in the morning but makes the stop by my house before his appointment to see what needs to be done. He told me all he was going to do and I was very thankful for that. He determined what he needed and stopped by later to do the install. He said he tells all his guys when working on someone's house, act like it's your grandma's house. 2nd Opinion Plumbing did an excellent job with the install, looks very clean and they were very professional. The price was also very agreeable as I have dealt with plumbers on another property and they were crooks. I will definitely use this company in the future.

2nd Opinion Plumbing - AWFUL! - Let me start by the awful customer service that I got when the phone was answered. It was almost as if she couldn't wait to get off the phone as if I was a nuisance. I also had the plumber work with my restroom and made matters worse. Then when I called back to talk to the same lady the was so lovely (i say sarcastically) to talk to the first time I talked to her. Although I was very frustrated I tried to let her know, the nicest way possible, that it was inconvenience that first the Plumber said he would be back to follow up and fix something else that needed attention in our restroom but I never got a call back. She then proceeded to say, "well do you want another appointment or what cause John is really busy and I don't have time for this." On top of that she didn't scheduled anything till 3 weeks later! I was taken back with her lack of concern so i tried to STILL give her the benefit of the doubt so I scheduled the appointment. I forgot to mention something and when I called back (about 5 min later) she was ruder than before (which i didn't think that was possible). I then said to her I dont apprecite the attitude and she then responded with "if you don't like it then find someone else" and hung up on me. WELL I was confused so i called back and she didn't answer. Tried one more time only this time i left a message asking "i just want to confirm that i just have an appointment because i would not want to not be at home if you still have it in your books." I called John no answer and I left him a message, also letting him know about the attitude i encountered. No call back from either. Thank goodness for home warranty they found another plumber and they stated that the other plumbing company just did a quick fix. Three weeks later: I get a text message telling me a plumber is on his way to my house. I was confused and I had two missed calls. I called one of them back wondering what is going on and the wonderful lady is on the phone again (unfortunate she wasnt important enough to remember her name but she was definelty the same one i talked to the first time) I explained to her that I didn't know about the appointment and she said you made the appointment. With my most patient voice i explained to her I am the person that you hung up on and I tired calling back to see if i had an appointment. She said i did not hang up we got "disconnected" HA! I explained that even if we did get disconnected i never got a call back and she didn't answer the phone when i called back right when we got "disconnected". Well she hung up on me AGAIN, oh wait we got "disconnected". I then called John and he didn't seem to care much either. I do have to give him credit with the fact that he heard me out and we didn't get "disconnect." I explained to John that how bad his receptionist is and he will lose a lot of business with her and the way they do business then just decided not to reschedule. Waste of time. thank goodness my warranty company had already helped me if not I would have been with the problem not fixed for 2 weeks, plus 3 weeks plus longer cause i would have had to reschedule had i made another appointment with them.

So, American Home Shield referred us to 2nd Opinion for an emergency with a hot water heater problem. A guy named John said he had not received the request from AHS yet but he needed to check with the secretary and he would call me back. He did not call. I called him back then he said they don't work with AHS anymore. I told him I would have appreciated a call to let me know. He hung up on me. Shameful.

Referred to 2nd Opinion Plumbing Services by my home warranty company. Since I placed the service order on the weekend, I assumed I wouldn't get a call until Monday morning. Monday rolled around and I received a call to set up the appointment. The plumber came out during the window they shared and stated we needed a new water heater due to the leak. Once they made the estimate, it was a little tough to get a hold of them to find out next steps so I worked with my home warranty company to push the issue. 2nd Opinion got back to me and the water heater was installed the next day. The contractor was friendly and efficient. He shared a tip on how to extend the life of a water heater which was very helpful. All and all, I was pleased with the experience.

On Friday night, after Thanksgiving, my water heater sprung a leak in my attic. My home warranty company referred me to 2nd Opinion Plumbing. On Saturday I missed the call from John at 9:30am. I returned his call at 10:30am with no call back. I again called John at 11:30am at that time he told me he wouldn't be able to come out to my house until Monday/Tuesday. I reminded him that I shut off the water to my house to reduce the risk of further water damage. He told me to call the home warranty company and ask them to set me up with another plumbing company. After reading these other reviews, I'm really glad I did. Hey John, your poor attitude,unwillingness and pure laziness to do your job just cost you a bunch of money and another bad review. Good Job buddy!

Worst experience ever. John who I found out was the owner is a disposable man with no professionalism at all. On top of that I was recommended to 2nd opinion like the last writer thru my home warranty. John shows up for my plumbing leak in my bathroom. The water flooded my upstairs and down stairs. John said it was my flapper was stuck. John put on a flapper stating the one I had didn't belong to the toilet. This is a 2014 home we have been in since 2016. I explained to Josh that no there is a leak there is water damage on my ceiling before I called for this huge problem. John grew angry and stated fuck it you don't have to pay and told his co worker come on let's get out of here and stokes out of my front door. I went out after John confused as I never denied payment or mentioned anything about paying. John continued to say I don't have to pay as he and his worker loaded his truck. I told John i was calling his company to report his behavior and John said he is the owner and to call them. I was sadden to think that a business owner could treat a client like that. That's why I'm writing this review. Obviously John doesn't care about the business generated from his home warranty companies and it anyone recommended to John and 2nd opinion I think you should get a different 2nd opinion. Like I say I wouldn't recommend this company to a drowning fish. Hope this helps.

Our home warranty company, Home Warranty of America referred us to 2nd Opinion Plumbing with the agreement that they would contact us within 48 hours of the service contract being sent. Since I had not heard from the in over 48 hours I chose to call and see if maybe from the holiday they were just booked and wanted to get in an on their schedule. Immediately upon speaking to the receptionist she falsely stated that she attempted to contact me the same day the service call was sent to them (which was a holiday because I myself attempted to call them) and that she could not leave a voicemail because my phone would not allow her to do so, another false statement. I informed her that I had not received any calls nor missed calls from them and that I had been home sick for a few days with my phone at my side waiting for their call. When I asked if we could see about scheduling for today since it had been days since my service call was sent to them she began to tell me that they have 8 different warranty companies that they work with and she cannot tell me when they will be available until this evening. I then stated that I would contact my home warranty company and let them know the issue so that they could recommend someone else to come out and check my garbage disposal that was leaking, she quickly said "okay, I'll call this on our side" and hung up on me. When I attempted to call back to get a name to relay to the warranty company she would not answer the phone. First impressions are everything and this definitely was not a good one.

If there was a "zero stars" option, I would elect it instead of "one star."

I would advise everyone to take their business elsewhere. I was unable to schedule a technician to come out to my home due to a very disrespectful and inconsiderate scheduling person. I was willing to take an entire day out of work due to the inability to receive a 2 hour window for service and yet I still was advised I would placed on standby.

If a customer is calling in on a Sunday to schedule services for any day of the following week, the customer should be able to be narrowed down to a date of service as well as a two hour window.

2nd Opinion Plumbing Service does now want your business and quite frankly does not deserve it!
