Larry has been out to my house a few times. He is knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He was recommended to me by a plumbing supply warehouse. He is excellent for emergencies or routine jobs. Wish I would have known about him sooner.

I would highly recommend Larry to anyone that has a plumbing issue! I had a clogged toilet and he was at my house in less then a half hour. It turned out to be a simple fix for him, but he was super friendly and knowledgable of all things plumbing.

I had a problem this week with the water pressure in my shower. As a new homeowner, i didn't yet have a reliable plumber in my rolodex, so i decided to play Yelp roulette and came across Larry's number.

This guy was amazing! When i called, he could have easily sold me on a house call and charged me through the nose for an emergency repair. But instead, he took the time to hear about the problem in detail and insisted that he could walk me through the simple repair over the phone - no charge. I was a little skeptical (plumbing is a bit of a dark art to me) and so I asked him to come out anyway, which he scheduled to do promptly. After we got off the phone, i decided to give it a try anyway so I followed his clear instructions and voila, the pressure was back (and better!) than normal. I called back to thank him and cancel the appointment. He may not have gotten my business today, but with that incredibly ethical & friendly attitude he earned a solid customer for any plumbing needs i'll have in the future.

Now if i can just understand how that cat hair got into that pipe in the first place...

I highly recommend Larry as a plumber. I recently bought a condo and had a water leak. I knew Larry because he did all the plumbing for the building where I was a renter. It was a comfort to able to call on someone I trusted for good advice, quality work, and very reasonable prices. Larry is very personable, and I feel he really values his customers and treats them well. I'll use Larry for all my future plumbing needs. He's pretty busy, but did manage to squeeze me in on short notice. He didn't have a fee for just showing up, like another plumber I called did. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Larry as a plumbing contractor!

Larry Fingerhut has done several jobs for us from snaking out lines to changing washers on old and hard-to-service fixtures, installing a new kitchen faucet, and setting up our back yard faucet for a sprinkler system. He is fantastic because he knows exactly what he is doing and he'll offer options if they exist. He is also very reasonably priced. Don't think I could more highly recommend him.

This gut is GREAT! He was at my residence just 3 hours after I called on a Monday morning. He is very polite and got down to business right away and soon had my supply line leak fixed so I could take my shower. And his rates are very competitive. I was so impressed with the service I added a 10% tip.

Larry rocks. Knows what he's doing, charges quite fairly, is very friendly - and responsive in times of emergency. He's done a lot of work for us, including fixing some not-so-straightforward problems. When there are alternative approaches, he'll spell them out clearly for you. For the last year our family rented a house in the Richmond District while we waited for our house in So. Cal. to sell. The house had a LOT of plumbing issues and Larry was the guy that the management company sent out to do the repairs. He always did a fantastic job and even managed to get great water pressure in the shower - not easy in the Richmond. We finally bought a house and moved to Noe Valley in December. I was so surprised to get a call from Larry a couple of days ago saying he had been working at our old rental house and noticed a big pile of mail for us (yes I have told the Post Office where to forward it). He got my permission to go get it and bring it to me. Then while he was here he fixed the water pressure in the shower at our new house!!! What a guy! He's also polite and a pleasure to talk to. He will diagnose a plumbing problem and fix it in the most cost effective way. You just can't find a better plumber.
