Jackman's of Bristol, Inc. has been serving the community since 1930 when Glenn Jackman founded the Coal and Firewood Business as Jackman Coal & Coke Company in Bristol. His sons later became part of the company: Fred in 1946 and Glenn Jr. in 1950. Four of Glenn's sons became part of the business: Fred and Glenn worked in Bristol and later, Charles and Ralph worked in Vergennes, after the purchase of ""Thomas Mack Coal Co."" in Vergennes, which was rebranded as Jackman Fuels, Inc. in 1938. On July 16, 2018, Paul and Peter sold the company to Timothy Bouvier and his wife, Kristine Evarts Bouvier. Tim joined the company in 1999. This transition brought a new name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..

Founded in 2006, Fairbanks Plumbing and Heating has a rich history. I am Jason Fairbanks, the proud owner and operator. I began my journey in plumbing in 1999, completing a five-year apprenticeship with the Local 693 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in South Burlington, VT. I completed 10,000 hours of practical training and five years of coursework at the Union hall, ultimately obtaining my Master’s plumbing license in Vermont and New Hampshire in 2006. In 2006, I started my business to provide additional income when work was scarce in the Union. I have been part of the Union since 1999, but I recently made the decision to commit full-time to my business. I have worked on everything from small residential tasks to the largest industrial semiconductor projects in the nation. As a lifelong Rutland resident, I now call Rutland Town home. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality work and stand behind my results.
With 25 years of experience, I am the owner of Fairbanks Plumbing and Heating. I have worked on a variety of projects, from minor residential tasks to significant industrial jobs throughout the United States. My small business model means I avoid the high overhead costs of larger companies, enabling me to offer competitive pricing. I stand behind my work and ensure respectful treatment of all my clients.
