Later, his sons entered the family business: Fred in 1946 while Glenn Jr. joined in 1950. The business saw four of Glenn's sons join the team: Fred and Glenn in Bristol and later, Charles and Ralph worked in Vergennes, following the acquisition of ""Thomas Mack Coal Co."" in Vergennes, which was rebranded as Jackman Fuels, Inc. in 1938. In 1947, fuel oil was added to the product line and subsequently included LP gas. Coal sales ended in 1967.
After the death of Glenn Jr. in 1974, Fred Jackman took sole ownership of Jackman's. Fred led the company until he retired in February 1995, at which point he sold the business to his sons, Paul and Peter. On July 16, 2018, Paul and Peter sold the company to Timothy Bouvier and his wife, Kristine Evarts Bouvier. Tim joined the company in 1999. The new ownership introduced a fresh name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..

My plumbing career started in 1999 when I undertook a five-year apprenticeship with Local 693 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in South Burlington, VT. I completed 10,000 hours of practical training and five years of coursework at the Union hall, ultimately obtaining my Master’s plumbing license in Vermont and New Hampshire in 2006. I launched my company in 2006 to create a backup income during slow periods in the Union. I was with the Union from 1999 until just recently, when I decided to dedicate myself fully to my company. I have worked on everything from small residential tasks to the largest industrial semiconductor projects in the nation. Having been born and raised in Rutland, I now reside in Rutland Town. I am dedicated to delivering high-quality work and stand behind my results.
