Glenn's four sons joined the operation: Fred and Glenn worked in Bristol and later Charles and Ralph in Vergennes, after the purchase of ""Thomas Mack Coal Co."" in Vergennes, which transitioned to Jackman Fuels, Inc. in 1938. In 1947, we expanded our product line to include fuel oil and later added LP gas. By 1967, coal sales ceased.
Following Glenn Jr.'s death in 1974, Fred Jackman assumed full ownership of Jackman's. He operated the business until his retirement in February 1995, when he passed the business to his sons, Paul and Peter. On July 16, 2018, Paul and Peter sold the company to Timothy Bouvier and his wife, Kristine Evarts Bouvier. Tim started working with us in 1999. With this new ownership came a new name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..

After finishing 10,000 hours of on-the-job training and five years of classes at the Union hall, I successfully passed my Master’s plumbing license exams in Vermont and New Hampshire in 2006. In 2006, I started my business to provide additional income when work was scarce in the Union. I worked with the Union from 1999 until recently, when I chose to focus full-time on my business. My experience ranges from small residential projects to some of the largest industrial semiconductor jobs in the country. As a lifelong Rutland resident, I now call Rutland Town home. I focus on quality craftsmanship and assure you of excellent outcomes.
