In 1947, fuel oil was added to the product line and later added LP gas. Coal sales ended in 1967.
Fred Jackman became the sole owner of Jackman's after Glenn Jr.'s passing in 1974. He operated the business until his retirement in February 1995, at which point he sold the business to his sons, Paul and Peter. Timothy Bouvier and his wife, Kristine Evarts Bouvier, acquired the company from Paul and Peter on July 16, 2018. Tim joined the company in 1999. This transition brought a new name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..
