In 1947, fuel oil was added to the product line and later added LP gas. By 1967, coal sales ceased.
After the death of Glenn Jr. in 1974, Fred Jackman took sole ownership of Jackman's. He managed the company until his retirement in February 1995, when he transferred ownership to his sons, Paul and Peter. On July 16, 2018, the company changed hands to Timothy Bouvier and Kristine Evarts Bouvier from Paul and Peter. Tim began his journey with the company in 1999. The new ownership introduced a fresh name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..
