I entered the field in 1983. Throughout the last three decades, I have developed knowledge in woodworking, drywall installation, plumbing, electrical, ceramic and vinyl tile, acoustical ceilings, deck construction, and fence building, along with wood and metal doors, etc..

In the last decade, I served as a project manager for a large-scale company, overseeing all office procedures. In this role, I learned knowledge into the management of a company.

Combining my experience in both the hands-on side and the administrative side, I realized to open my own venture and reintroduce high standards, honesty, trust, and affordability to the market.

My journey in construction started on weekends, assisting on roofs with my family. Once I completed high school, I went to work for a construction firm as a helper, moving drywall.

Not long after, I came across a job opportunity in the paper for carpentry positions, experience not required. While I didn’t mind carrying drywall, I was eager to gain further experience in the construction field. I took the opportunity and landed the job. During my time at Elk Head Construction, I learned wall framing, hanging drywall, taping drywall, door installation, soundproof ceiling installation, and various tasks in carpentry.

Several years later, I decided to learn something new, so I worked with an independent firm installing ceramic and vinyl floor and wall tile. Additionally, we installed windows and vinyl siding on houses.
