I have been in the industry since 1983. Over the past 30 years, I have acquired expertise in woodworking, drywall installation, pipe work, electrical, tile installation, soundproof ceilings, deck construction, and fence building, including door installation, among other skills.

In the last decade, I served as a manager for a significant company, overseeing all administrative tasks. In this role, I gained insight into the operational aspects of a company.

Combining my experience in both the labor side and the management side, I felt it was time to start my own venture and reintroduce quality, integrity, trust, and value to the industry.

I started working in construction on weekends, working on roofs with my family. Once I completed high school, I joined a commercial contractor as a laborer, carrying drywall.

Not long after, I found a position advertisement in the paper for carpentry positions, no experience needed. While I didn’t mind carrying drywall, I wanted to gain further experience in the building industry. So, I applied and landed the job. While working at Elk Head Construction, I gained skills in framing walls, hanging drywall, taping and finishing drywall, door installation, soundproof ceiling installation, and various tasks in carpentry.

A few years down the line, I opted to explore something new, so I joined with an independent contractor installing ceramic and vinyl floor and wall tile. On weekends, we handled windows and vinyl siding on residential properties.
