I entered the field in 1983. Throughout the last three decades, I have developed skills in woodworking, drywall installation, pipe work, electrical, ceramic and vinyl tile, acoustical ceilings, deck construction, and fence building, as well as door installation, and more.

For the past ten years, I served as a supervisor for a large-scale company, managing all administrative tasks. In this role, I gained understanding into the management of a company.

With my background in both the technical side and the management side, I decided to start my own business and restore high standards, honesty, trust, and value to the industry.

I started working in construction on weekends, working on roofs with my family. After graduating high school, I joined a commercial contractor as a laborer, carrying drywall.

Some time after, I saw a job listing in the paper for carpentry positions, experience not required. While I didn’t mind carrying drywall, I sought to learn more in the construction field. I took the opportunity and landed the job. During my time at Elk Head Construction, I mastered wall framing, hanging drywall, taping drywall, installing doors, acoustical ceilings, and everything related to carpentry.

A few years down the line, I decided to gain experience in something new, so I teamed up with an individual contractor installing ceramic and vinyl floor and wall tile. Additionally, we worked on windows and vinyl siding on residential properties.
