I entered the field in 1983. Over the past 30 years, I have gained knowledge in carpentry, drywall, pipe work, electrical, ceramic and vinyl tile, soundproof ceilings, deck construction, and fences, as well as door installation, and more.

In the last decade, I served as a supervisor for a multi-million-dollar company, overseeing all administrative tasks. During this time, I learned knowledge into the operational aspects of a company.

I started working in construction on weekends, working on roofs with my family. After graduating high school, I joined a contracting company as a helper, moving drywall.

Some time after, I came across a position advertisement in the paper for carpenters, experience not required. Even though I was okay with carrying drywall, I wanted to expand my knowledge in the construction field. So, I applied and secured the job. At Elk Head Construction, I gained skills in wall framing, hanging drywall, taping and finishing drywall, door installation, acoustical ceilings, and everything related to carpentry.

After some time, I decided to learn something new, so I worked with an independent contractor for tile installation of ceramic and vinyl floor and wall tile. On weekends, we worked on windows and vinyl siding on residential properties.
