I am Steve Walters, the President and Owner of Walters Environmental Services, Inc., a company started by my parents, Faber and Beverly Walters, back in 1973. They created a septic cleaning unit mounted on a truck, which cost $900. With my mom, Bev, as the secretary and dispatcher, our family entered the small business landscape. At that time, my siblings and I were in elementary school. We adjusted to the distinct demands of the service industry. We realized that our motto, ""Our Service is the Difference,"" accurately conveyed our promise to address customer needs.

Upon finishing college, I came back to work and started from the bottom of our company, ultimately acquiring the business from my parents and steering it into a new phase in the septic industry. By 1998, they moved back to the Carlisle area and the skilled plumber returned to Jones Plumbing Inc.. Following more education, the technician advanced to a service technician. In 2000, Jason and Melanie accompanied by their young daughter, relocated to the Millersburg area to work as part-time youth pastors while maintaining part-time plumbing work. In 2001, Jason established his own renovation firm, Wetzel's Contracting Inc. in the Millersburg area while also serving in the church. In 2003, they purchased a property in Carlisle, PA and relocated with their kids, Caleb and Bethany. By 2012, he took over the business while upholding his remodeling company.
