In 1958, the Jones family started their venture in the plumbing industry on the Newville Road in the Carlisle area. By 1980, the founder prepared his child, Steven, teaching him the knowledge needed to take over the business. In 1986, the headquarters relocated to the present location. By 1990, the company was established as Jones Plumbing, Incorporated. The year 1993, for better customer support, the owner recruited his brother, Ronald M., as manager of operations. In 1995, with growth, it became necessary for the workspace to grow. An expanded complex was established to feature more shop area, administrative areas, and a modern showroom. In 2001, Ronald became the owner of the business, continuing the tradition of service into the modern era. In 2012, Jason Wetzel acquired Jones Plumbing Inc.. The display area received enhancements and expanded services were introduced to our clients. In 1995, the future owner earned his degree with an award in technology education. Steven hired Jason at Jones Plumbing Inc. as an apprentice plumber. The year 1996, Jason wed his wife and went to a Christian college to pursue a pastor while she earned her teaching degree. By 1998, they returned to the Carlisle area and he returned to the business. With additional training, Jason moved up to a service role. In 2000, they together with their two-year-old daughter, moved to Millersburg, PA to work as part-time youth leaders while keeping part-time plumbing responsibilities. In 2001, he started his own remodeling business, Wetzel's Contracting Inc. in the Millersburg area while still involved in the church. By 2003, Jason and Melanie bought a property in Carlisle, PA and relocated with their children, their son and daughter. The year 2012, he took over Jones Plumbing Inc. while maintaining his contracting business.
