In 1995, DeVon started a distinct firm in Canton called ""Groff's Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc."" DeVon invited two collaborators to join him: a skilled technician from Lancaster, and Jason Denlinger from Canton. He was the head technician for the business until his unexpected death in 2007 following a fatal heart attack. In 2014, DeVon opted to dedicate himself entirely on the Lancaster operation and sold his interest in the Canton business to his partner, Jason Denlinger. The company is now rebranded ""Solaire Home Comfort"" and functions in close collaboration with ""Solaire Energy"", the solar energy business operated by his spouse. This firm merges a long with successful legacy in the region with a modern plus progressive strategy to the industry.
