Following my three and a half years in the Army, I started my apprenticeship at Robertson Plumbing in Damascus. Four years later, I earned my journeyman status and later established my own company.
Traveling is a passion of mine; I recently explored Nepal and enjoyed some time in Hawaii. Gardening is another interest of mine, and I advocate for sustainable agriculture. I admire Masanobu Fukuoka, the Japanese gardener and scientist behind ""One Straw Revolution"". Bill Mollison, the pioneer of modern permaculture, has influenced my approach as well.
My childhood was spent on a raspberry farm close to Sandy, where my family and I toiled to clear and cultivate the land. I remain in the same community. My wife and I recently purchased a home; we have a young son and a daughter.
