My dad, Jim Gravitt, began as a welder and then pursued plumbing and mechanical training. The company was started by him in 1970. I started helping him when I was just 10 years old. In 1979, I completed my education at Sooner Trade School. I obtained all necessary contractor licenses for plumbing and mechanical work. I am certified by the EPA to recover and dispose of various types of Freon.

The company, formerly known as Jim Gravitt Plumbing & Heat and Air, was handed down to me, Jerry Gravitt, in 1985. Our commitment is to fair and honest pricing. I came into the world in 1962 at Fort Campbell, KY. After an honorable discharge in 1964, my father moved back to Oklahoma. Oklahoma has been my home for my whole life. I have been married for 33 years. I have two children, Ashley (30) and Jeremiah (24), along with five grandchildren. My grandchildren are Seth (10), Kaleb (9), Ava (5), Connor (4), and our newest addition, Eden (10 months). Our family loves to camp, boat, and drag race. Racing has always been a part of my life, and I now compete at Thunder Valley Race Park. Family is the most important aspect of life, and building good friendships and customer relationships is my mission. Since 1989, we have called Moore, OK home, where my wife went to school.
