Since high school, Kris has worked in the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning field. He purchased his family business, Knochelmann Plumbing, Heating & Air, in 1991 with his brothers and brother-in-law. In 1997, they sold the business to Service Experts, a Lennox-owned national chain.
