Established by Homer Potter in 1944, Potter Heating began as a one-man operation in Fayetteville. Throughout the years, the business expanded and changed locations several times. In 1981, after 37 successful years in operation and due to health issues, Homer transferred ownership to M. Suzanne and David Kondra. Homer continued to play an active role in the business until he passed away in 1986.
Beyond the quality of its Bryant equipment, Potter fabricates a significant portion of the ductwork utilized in its installations. This tailored approach results in a cleaner and tighter final product that guarantees years of dependability and durability, improving efficiency and comfort for everyone in the space. In 1986, she was the sole woman to finish a mentorship program at the Syracuse Builder's Exchange for women and minorities. She still values her mentorship relationship even after 22 years. Moreover, Suzanne pursued and earned her heating license, making her one of just two women in CNY with this credential. She listens to and learns from her team every day.
