Fuel oil was introduced to our offerings in 1947 along with L.P. Gas in subsequent years. We discontinued coal sales in 1967.
Following Glenn Jr.'s death in 1974, Fred Jackman assumed full ownership of Jackman's. He managed the company until his retirement in February 1995, when he passed the business to his sons, Paul and Peter. On July 16, 2018, Paul and Peter sold the company to Timothy Bouvier and his wife, Kristine Evarts Bouvier. Tim joined the company in 1999. This transition brought a new name: Jackman's of Bristol, Inc..
