During my teenage years, I was fortunate to learn about plumbing from my two uncles, who ran their own plumbing and heating enterprises. Back then, I didn’t fully appreciate the opportunity and thought the trade was “too dirty,” but my initial disdain gradually transformed into fascination. I was eager to learn, and soon I made significant strides as a plumbing mechanic. As skilled as I was, I found it challenging to grasp the underlying concepts. My uncles instructed me in repairs and replacements, but when confronted with anything atypical, I was entirely bewildered! However, I was not content with this limited understanding, so I immersed myself in studying the science and history of plumbing!
