Back in 2021. I had just lost my position in the union. I was on unemployment, wondering what came next. Then my young son dropped into a decayed part of the floor by my mother’s front door. That moment didn’t just rattle me; it lit the fire. I didn’t reach out for assistance.
With what little I had left in my retirement fund, I bought tools and built a dream. My original company was Aljets HandymanLandscaping. It evolved quickly to K&A Home Enhancements, K&A HouseCall Solutions, and eventually, K&A HouseCall Pro Services, formed in 2024.
I’ve been trading since I was a child, purchasing honey sticks for a small amount, reselling them for a 25 cents. My granddad and his siblings established a thriving union company from the ground up, which has always inspired me to strive for more.
