Mike Crosby, raised in the Kansas City area, completed his education at Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy met in high school. Mike's father-in-law was a plumber and got Mike interested in the business. After 4 years of schooling through Plumbers Local 8, Mike received his Journeyman's certification and went on to receive his Master Plumber's License.

Mike trained as an apprentice at A.D. Jacobson, specializing in commercial plumbing. Later, he transitioned to residential plumbing and dedicated many years to the local market. After spending a year at KU Medical Center as a Maintenance Supervisor, he saw a chance to launch his own business.

In 2003, Mike established Crosby Plumbing Inc., he engaged in both new home construction and service work. Mike continues to work in the field, offering extensive expertise from kitchen plumbing to large-scale sewer treatment plants. He has earned both Master Plumber and Med Gas certifications over the years.
