The inception of Bob's Rooter Service was by Bob Trowbridge in November 2000. Brett, the son of Bob, started working with him in the summer after school hours early on and now works full-time at Bob's Rooter. Bob's entry into the construction field started when his parents acquired Land Hardware in the historic Northeast area of Kansas City at St John and Hardesty for ten years. That store was sold in the year 1988 as Bob's parents chose to retire. Following that, Bob became the branch manager at Evergreen Lawn Care in Grandview, MO, which was later acquired by Barefoot Lawn Services, prompting Bob to look for new work yet again. In 1991, Bob took a position as the shop manager at Reddi Services at their former location located in Turner, KS. Later, Bob moved to working in the field at Reddi Services as a service tech and continued with them up until spring 2000 when he lost both his parents. Bob made the choice to go into business for himself and parted ways with Reddi Root'r.

Thirty-five years ago, my plumbing journey commenced with Morgan Plumbing & Heating Company. After obtaining my master’s license, I craved new challenges, which I pursued by joining the well-regarded Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. During my time there, I built a plumbing department from the ground up, learning the ins and outs of corporate operations while serving a diverse customer base throughout the Metro area.

As I taught plumbing classes to new recruits at Roto Rooter, I honed my knowledge of various plumbing products. Five years later, inspired by a wish for greater autonomy, I partnered with Bob Miller to co-found Morgan Miller Plumbing in 1997. Our shared vision was to build a company that prioritizes fairness and generosity towards employees and customers alike.

His company, TcB Construction has successfully built 70+ new homes in Springfield, MO, the state of Alabama, in Washington, and in Oregon from 2002 to 2017. He has overseen construction crews of all sizes and subcontractors in every trade. Since moving to Kansas City in 2017, he has managed residential rehab projects in the eastern part of Troost. Terry lives in a restored house that he himself rehabbed.
