The inception of Bob's Rooter Service was by Bob Trowbridge in November 2000. Brett, the son of Bob, joined him over the summer and after classes initially and is now a full-time employee for Bob's Rooter. Bob's path into the construction industry began after his parents bought a hardware store in the historic Northeast area of Kansas City located at St John and Hardesty for a decade. The hardware store was eventually sold in 1988 when Bob's parents opted for retirement. Bob then became a branch manager at Evergreen Lawn Care located in Grandview, MO, which was later taken over by Barefoot Lawn, causing Bob to search for new job opportunities once again. In the year 1991, Bob joined as shop manager at Reddi Services at their former location in Turner, KS. Later, Bob moved to the field for Reddi Services in the role of service technician and continued with them up until spring 2000 when he lost both his parents. Bob decided to start his own business and parted ways with Reddi Root'r.

At Roto Rooter, I was able to create a plumbing department from the ground up, gaining expertise in corporate procedures while serving a diverse customer base throughout the Metro area.

As I taught plumbing classes to new recruits at Roto Rooter, I deepened my expertise in various plumbing materials. After five years, motivated by a desire for more independence, I partnered with Bob Miller to co-found Morgan Miller Plumbing in 1997.
