In 2000, Dan was promoted to Vice President, taking responsibility for most commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He took full responsibility for all design/build projects. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin executed a purchase agreement, giving Dan complete ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc.

After WWI, Frank assumed full ownership and operated from his residence on California Street in St. Louis until 1970, when the company moved to its current location in Webster Groves.
