Kalen Barker, a fourth-generation master plumber with 17 years under his belt, was rushed to the hospital by a coworker during his career. He was soon discharged, with hopes that it was just a singular occurrence. Sadly, this led to a two-year battle with a nervous system disorder that left Kalen reliant on a wheelchair.

Eventually, Kalen found himself using the wheelchair less and was able to return to plumbing work.
