Once he obtained his plumbing licenses for both St. Louis City and St. Louis County, he advanced to Job Foreman, overseeing larger plumbing projects for O.J. Laughlin. After five years in the role of Field Foreman, he gradually shifted to the office, where he was trained as both an Estimator and Project Manager. In 2000, Dan was promoted to Vice President, taking responsibility for most commercial, industrial, medical, and healthcare projects. He managed all design/build projects independently. On December 28, 2012, Dan and Bob Laughlin signed a purchase agreement, granting Dan sole ownership of O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company, Inc.
