Dominic is the general manager and group leader for Metro-Rooter. Born into the plumbing world, he started working on job sites at the age of 13. After school, he assisted his grandfather, father, and uncles, who were also plumbers with their own business. By 21, he became a master plumber and earned certifications in water and gas line installation, along with a water damage extraction license. Since 2002, Dom has been part of Metro-Rooter as a service technician, where his dedication and hard work became evident. His exceptional customer service, strong work ethic, and plumbing expertise helped him rise through the ranks. Now serving as General Manager, he is on the path to becoming the District Manager. We are expanding; by summer 2019, Metro-Rooter will open two new locations. The new east side branch will be situated in downtown Detroit, while the north side branch will be in Flint, Michigan.

Most projects, such as installing ceiling fans, fitting doors, or adding new plumbing fixtures, are billed at a flat rate, especially when they are standard across different homes or do not need a site visit for an estimate.

I opt for an hourly rate for smaller tasks such as drywall repairs, assembling furniture, fixing sticking doors, diagnosing electrical issues, or any project where the total time cannot be accurately estimated.

The first hour is billed at $100, which is my minimum, followed by $30 for each subsequent 30 minutes.

I’m willing to start any project on an hourly basis and will provide a flat fee after seeing it in person.

Larger renovation projects, such as kitchen, bath, deck, or basement remodels, require an on-site assessment before I can provide a quote.

Keep in mind that I charge a $50 fee for this service because of rising fuel costs, which is refundable if you decide to hire me for the full project or a considerable portion of it.

I take appointments seven days a week, operating on a first-come, first-served basis, by appointment only.
I usually schedule appointments twice daily, starting at 10 AM and again at 2 PM.
However, I can accommodate other times if available and upon request.
I can schedule projects 24 hours a day, including nights and weekends, based on customer needs.
