I began my venture to have additional time with my kids and so I could bring them to and from their school.
I've always run additional ventures while having full-time positions for others. Once, I juggled two full-time roles and a secondary job for extra income and I also ran a tiny grass cutting service that developed to the point that I committed myself to it entirely. After that, I relocated to Slidell and sold the grass cutting operation. I attempted snack machines, but it didn't work out. Additionally, I ventured into car sales, but that failed. I did in truck driving for a few years up until my son was born, but I found it difficult to being gone so much. After that, I distributed shrimp in northwest Arkansas every other weekend for one shrimp season and performed well until the next season at which point there appeared many other suppliers up there and I learned I was going to have a daughter. That’s when, I founded Anything Assembled. Then, people began asking if I was able to do additional work and after 2 years, I changed the name to Anything Fixed or Assembled.

I began my journey in this trade as many do, starting as a helper for a friend who needed some assistance for just one day. In that single day, I discovered a passion for plumbing that I had never known before, and I was eager to understand everything I could about this field. As they say, the rest is history. I am committed to my craft and will continue in plumbing until I can no longer do so, but until that time, I will keep on working.
