In 1974, my father, Jerry, and my mother, Bennie Payne, started Central Plumbing in our driveway in Tanglewood subdivision, Central, Louisiana.

Before starting Central Plumbing, my father was a union plumber, and work was scarce back then.

To provide our family, he took a job in Hollywood, Florida.

From what I understand, he was on his way back to bring us to Florida when he decided on the idea of starting his own business.

His vision was to offer service work to address leaks in faucets, sinks, and other small issues.

My father aimed to step back and offered the business to his children.

I have been part of this business for 28 years, and it is genuinely a part of my soul.

My wife and I opted to take the risk and purchase the company.
