The inception of Bob's Rooter Service by Bob Trowbridge on November 3rd, 2000. Brett, the son of Bob, started working with him during the summer and after classes from the start and is now a full-time employee for Bob's Rooter. Bob's path into the construction industry started following his parents acquired a hardware store in Kansas City's historic Northeast neighborhood at St John and Hardesty for a period of ten years. The hardware store was sold in the year 1988 as Bob's parents opted for retirement. Bob then became the branch manager at Evergreen Lawn Care located in Grandview, MO, which was later taken over by Barefoot Lawn Services, causing Bob to search for new job opportunities again. In 1991, Bob took a position as the manager of the shop for Reddi Services at their former location in Turner, KS. In time, Bob shifted to the field at Reddi Services in the role of service technician and remained with them up until spring 2000 when he lost both his parents. Bob decided to start his own business and left Reddi Root'r.

During my time there, I built a plumbing department from the ground up, gaining expertise in corporate procedures and serving a broad customer base across the Metro area.

As I conducted plumbing training sessions for new employees at Roto Rooter, I refined my understanding of different plumbing products.
