Following in his father's path, the son, Joe Glassman founded Glassman Climate Control in Russell, KS in the early 1980s. In 1985, he took over his father's firm, combined it with Glassman Climate Control and relocated the business from Russell to Hays. With the expansion of Glassman's mechanical and building services, the business was renamed Glassman Corporation in 1991.
