They relocated to their present location at 622 Topeka Street in 1971. Their son, Steven Lewis, began working with the company as an HVAC serviceman in 1977. Steven acquired the company from his parents in 2008 and rebranded it as Comfort Systems Inc. to reflect the growing emphasis on comfort and energy efficiency.
Steven holds a State of Kansas license as a mechanical contractor and plumber. Steven is a certified home energy rater and has been affiliated with the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Moreover, Steven holds NATE certification in duct installation and air distribution.
