In 1971, they moved to their current address at 622 Topeka Street. In 1977, Steven Lewis, their son, entered the business as an HVAC technician. Steven purchased the business from his parents in 2008 and changed the name to Comfort Systems Inc. to signify the shift towards comfort and energy efficiency.
He is a licensed mechanical contractor and plumber in the State of Kansas. Steven is a certified home energy rater and has been affiliated with the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Steven is also NATE certified in air distribution and duct installation.
