Bob's Rooter Service began by Bob Trowbridge in the year 2000. Brett, Bob's son, began assisting him during the summer after school hours initially and now works full-time at Bob's Rooter. Bob's path into the construction industry initiated when his parents acquired Land Hardware in the Northeast district of Kansas City at St John and Hardesty for a decade. The hardware store was eventually sold back in 1988 as Bob's parents opted for retirement. Following that, Bob became a branch manager with Evergreen Lawn Care located in Grandview, MO, which was later acquired by Barefoot Lawn, prompting Bob to look for new work once again. During 1991, Bob started working as the shop manager at Reddi Services at their old location in Turner, Kansas. Later, Bob moved to the field for Reddi Services as a service tech and continued with them until the spring of 2000 following the loss of his parents. Bob chose to establish his own company and left Reddi Root'r.

As I progressed to a master’s license, I sought new challenges, which I pursued by joining the well-regarded Kansas City franchise, Roto Rooter. During my time there, I built a plumbing department from the ground up, acquiring knowledge of corporate processes while serving a diverse customer base throughout the Metro area.

As I conducted plumbing training sessions for new employees at Roto Rooter, I honed my knowledge of various plumbing products. Five years later, inspired by a wish for greater autonomy, I partnered with Bob Miller to co-found Morgan Miller Plumbing in 1997. We envisioned a company that emphasizes fairness and generosity for both employees and customers.
