Started in July 1998, A Good Plumber, Inc. was launched by Karen Osburn in Derby, KS. In 2003, our office shifted a few miles north to K-15 and 47th Street in Wichita. Our Master Plumber is Dale Osburn. Philip Hewitt and Dustin Johnson are our Journeyman Plumbers. The offices are managed by Karen and Tasha McKeever. We are a small, close-knit team with a welcoming, family-oriented environment. Many of our customers have been loyal since our inception. We believe this is due to our commitment to treating customers with dignity and respect.
In 1978, Karen Osburn received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University. While completing her teaching degree, she managed administrative services for The Law Company, Inc. in Wichita. Following her teaching career at Wichita USD 259, she worked as a legal secretary at Kahrs, Nelson, Fanning, Hite & Kellogg. Once she started A Good Plumber in 1998, she dedicated herself fully to her business.
