Situated at 202 S Broadway in Larned, they provided quality Maytag appliances, Motorola TVs, and Coleman heating and cooling systems, along with servicing all brands. In 1971, they transitioned to their current site at 622 Topeka Street. In 1977, Steven Lewis, their son, entered the business as an HVAC technician. Steven purchased the business from his parents in 2008 and changed the name to Comfort Systems Inc. to signify the shift towards comfort and energy efficiency.
Steven is a licensed plumber and mechanical contractor in Kansas. He is trained as a home energy rater and has been part of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Additionally, Steven is NATE certified in duct installation and air distribution.

As a lifelong Larned resident, Steven graduated from Leadership Larned and has held positions as a member and Chair of the Building and Trades Board for the City of Larned. Steven has taken on all leadership roles in the Club and has been District Governor, later elected as Council Chairman for the Lions of Kansas the next year.
