At 202 S Broadway in Larned, they supplied quality Maytag items, Motorola TVs, and Coleman heating and air conditioning, in addition to servicing various brands. They relocated to their present location at 622 Topeka Street in 1971. In 1977, their son, Steven Lewis, joined the business as an HVAC technician. Steven purchased the business from his parents in 2008 and changed the name to Comfort Systems Inc. to signify the shift towards comfort and energy efficiency.
Steven holds a State of Kansas license as a mechanical contractor and plumber. He is trained as a home energy rater and has been part of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Steven is also NATE certified in air distribution and duct installation.

A lifelong resident of Larned, KS, Steven graduated from Leadership Larned and served as a member and then Chair of the Building and Trades Board for the City of Larned. Steven has taken on all leadership roles in the Club and has been District Governor, later elected as Council Chairman for the Lions of Kansas the next year.
