Established in July 1998, A Good Plumber, Inc. was created by Karen Osburn in Derby, KS. In 2003, we relocated to K-15 and 47th Street in Wichita, just a few miles north. Dale Osburn serves as our Master Plumber. Philip Hewitt and Dustin Johnson work as Journeyman Plumbers. Karen and Tasha McKeever oversee our office operations. We pride ourselves on being a small, family-oriented team with a friendly, familial culture. The majority of our clients have been with us from the beginning. We attribute this to our dedication to treating our customers with the same respect we have for one another.
Karen Osburn earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University in 1978. While finishing her degree, she served as the administrative services manager for The Law Company, Inc. in Wichita. After many years of teaching at Wichita USD 259, she moved to a legal secretary role at Kahrs, Nelson, Fanning, Hite & Kellogg. After launching A Good Plumber in 1998, she committed herself exclusively to her company.
