Mike Crosby, raised in the Kansas City area, completed his education at Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy met in high school. Mike's father-in-law was a plumber and got Mike interested in the business. After 4 years of schooling through Plumbers Local 8, Mike received his Journeyman's certification and later obtained his Master Plumber's License.

Mike worked an apprenticeship through A.D. Jacobson working on commercial plumbing. Later, he transitioned to residential plumbing and dedicated many years to the local market. Following a year as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, the opportunity arose for Mike to create his own business.

Mike founded Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he engaged in both new home construction and service work. Mike continues to work in the field, offering extensive expertise from kitchen plumbing to large-scale sewer treatment plants. Throughout the years, he has achieved Master Plumber certification and Med Gas certification.

His commitment to hard work propelled him to create his own business, and with the backing of his wife Heather, they started from home in early 2003. By 2016, they expanded to six service technicians. Currently, they work from a 14,000 sq. ft. independent building, employing more than 20 staff members.
