Mike Crosby grew up in the Kansas City area graduating from Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy met in high school. Mike's father-in-law, a plumber, sparked his interest in plumbing. After 4 years of schooling through Plumbers Local 8, Mike earned his Journeyman's License and later obtained his Master Plumber's License.

Mike trained as an apprentice at A.D. Jacobson, specializing in commercial plumbing. Later, he transitioned to residential plumbing and dedicated many years to the local market. After spending a year at KU Medical Center as a Maintenance Supervisor, he saw a chance to launch his own business.

Mike founded Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he worked in new home construction as well as service. Mike continues to work in the field, offering extensive expertise from kitchen plumbing to large-scale sewer treatment plants.
