Continuing his father's legacy, the son, Joe Glassman founded Glassman Climate Control in Russell, Kansas in the early 1980s. In 1985, he acquired his father's company, integrated it into Glassman Climate Control and shifted the headquarters from Russell to Hays. As the scope of Glassman's services broadened, the name was updated to Glassman Corporation in 1991.
