In 1971, they moved to their current address at 622 Topeka Street. In 1977, their son, Steven Lewis, joined the business as an HVAC technician. In 2008, Steven took over the business from his parents and renamed it Comfort Systems Inc. to highlight the focus on comfort and energy savings.
Steven holds a State of Kansas license as a mechanical contractor and plumber. He has received training as a home energy rater and has been a member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Moreover, Steven holds NATE certification in duct installation and air distribution.
