Mike Crosby, raised in the Kansas City area, completed his education at Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife, Sandy were high school sweethearts. Inspired by his father-in-law, a plumber, Mike developed an interest in the trade. After 4 years of schooling through Plumbers Local 8, Mike earned his Journeyman's License and went on to receive his Master Plumber's License.

Mike worked an apprenticeship through A.D. Jacobson working on commercial plumbing. He then switched over to residential plumbing and spent many years in the local industry. After a year working as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, an opportunity emerged for Mike to start his own company.

Mike founded Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he operated in new home builds and service areas. After four years in new construction plumbing, I sought a change and craved more challenges. I joined a plumbing service company in Kansas City, where I repaired and replaced everything from underground sewer and water lines to toilets and drain cleaning. Working with my father in the plumbing trade instilled a deep passion for plumbing in me. For me, the service and repair side of plumbing is significantly more gratifying than new construction, as it involves identifying issues and crafting the right solutions.
