Mike Crosby, raised in the Kansas City area, completed his education at Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy have been together since high school. Mike's father-in-law was a plumber and got Mike interested in the business. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike earned his Journeyman's License and subsequently achieved his Master Plumber's certification.

He completed an apprenticeship at A.D. Jacobson focusing on commercial plumbing. He then switched over to residential plumbing and spent many years in the local industry. After a year working as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, he saw a chance to launch his own business.
