They relocated to their present location at 622 Topeka Street in 1971. In 1977, their son, Steven Lewis, joined the business as an HVAC technician. In 2008, Steven took over the business from his parents and renamed it Comfort Systems Inc. to highlight the focus on comfort and energy savings.
Steven is a licensed plumber and mechanical contractor in Kansas. Steven is a certified home energy rater and has been affiliated with the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1992. Additionally, Steven is NATE certified in duct installation and air distribution.
