Mike's father-in-law was a plumber and got Mike interested in the business. After 4 years of schooling through Plumbers Local 8, Mike received his Journeyman's certification and went on to receive his Master Plumber's License.

He completed an apprenticeship at A.D. Jacobson focusing on commercial plumbing. He then switched over to residential plumbing and spent many years in the local industry. After a year working as a Maintenance Supervisor at KU Medical Center, he saw a chance to launch his own business.

Mike founded Crosby Plumbing Inc. in 2003, he engaged in both new home construction and service work. Today, Mike remains active in the field, bringing a wealth of experience from kitchen sinks to major sewer treatment facilities.
