Mike Crosby grew up in the Kansas City area graduating from Bonner Springs High School in 1980. Mike and his wife Sandy met in high school. Inspired by his father-in-law, a plumber, Mike developed an interest in the trade. Following four years of training with Plumbers Local 8, Mike graduated with a Journeyman's License and later obtained his Master Plumber's License.

He completed an apprenticeship at A.D. Jacobson focusing on commercial plumbing. He then moved into residential plumbing, gaining extensive experience in the local sector. After spending a year at KU Medical Center as a Maintenance Supervisor, the opportunity arose for Mike to create his own business.
